Enjoy the Ride
Life is an adventure, a journey….it is not a destination. After all, we all know how the story ends and newsflash, none of us are getting out of this alive!!
It is so easy in our everyday lives to get caught up in where we are going, the destination or the goal, and we forget to look at where we are now. We miss so much in our lives because we are focused on something in the future, or thinking about something that happened in the past.
Enjoying the ride is called many different things –
· Live in the moment
· Be Present
· Mindful living
· Stop and smell the roses
It’s one of the most common themes in personal development, that of living in the now, to stop being anxious about the future, and to stop regretting the past. But for such a simple concept, it is the most difficult to actually live.
There is an old saying –
If you are worried about something and you can change it, then change. If you can’t change it then stop worrying.
For me I want to add to that saying –
If you are worried about something and you can change it, then change. If you can’t change it, influence what you can, then stop worrying.
You should treat life as an adventure. Its’ ups, its’ downs, it is challenging and it is downright hard, and it’s a constant stream of good and bad moments. Think of your life as a tale of adventure. When you’re 100 you want to have stories to tell, you want to be able to have really lived and experienced your life.
Live a Life Worth Living
