Do what you can...with what you have...where you are
Sounds simple but most of us don’t know what we have, we underestimate what we can do, and we don’t know where we are…
Living is about two things - effort and acceptance. Effort is about knowing that you have done everything in your control to achieve an outcome and accepting what is outside your control, and when you understand that, you can then accept the outcome of your efforts whether they be good or bad.
The problem is that most people remain in their comfort zones, even when the comfort zone sucks, and the reason they do this is because they know what will happen. When they step outside of their comfort zones they step into the unknown and their subconscious tells them this is risky, so they find excuses and people or things to blame as to why they don’t try.
